My name is Muskan Batra and I am 19 years old. Currently, I am a second year student of bachelors in Spanish at Department of Germanic and Romance Studies, Delhi University. I know English, Hindi , Spanish, Portuguese (basic written and spoken) and Punjabi (spoken).  Soon, I will be learning Mandarin as well. In this age of globalisation, we are not just citizens of our country, we are also global citizens which is why I wish learning many languages and with them learning about to new cultures. Also, I am pursuing a certificate course in Tour and Travel studies from India Gandhi National Open University. Being a firm supporter of children’s basic education, I am associated with The Rising People Welfare Foundation, an NGO, aimed at providing education to poor children apart from their school. Previously, I have worked with MASH Project, which is an organisation that helps the young social change makers bring the change in society, as an intern at events’ department.
 
I have always been fascinated by human psychology and have studied the same for 2 years in high school. It I has helped me in observing people and their actions and in applying basic psychological fundas to real life.
 
Being from an arts’ background, I want to expand my horizons to the commercial and the corporate world as well. This internship seems to be providing with many new things like project management, e-marketing etc. that I want to learn which surely are going to help me a lot in future.
 
 
MY CAREER GOALS
 
As a person, one of the major goals in my life is always to be a better version of myself. I have always believed that success always follows hard work. There is no shortcut to success and I have never feared working hard towards my goals and the issues that matter to me.
 
Also having the desire of learning new cultures, I have been a part of the delegation for a cultural exchange program with three schools in Italy in high school. I wish to explore those parts of the world which have not been explored yet, once I start earning.
 
 In the last year of my graduation, I am planning to give the DELE exam of B2 level for which I will be preparing soon for summer vacations along with this internship. Also, I am hoping to join a one program of Business Chinese.  After my graduation, I will be applying for jobs for further furnishing my Spanish.
